Common questions and answers about Close Contact

Indexing will just pick up from where it left off last time when you restart Outlook. However, you won’t see a progress dialog, indexing will just continue in the background. Until indexing is complete, any Close Contact reports you run may show incomplete information – you will be warned about this when the report runs.

Close Contact adds a little bit of extra information to each email and consequently each email will need resynchronizing by Outlook. This is a one-off process which only happens on Close Contact Setup.
